While Steampunk weaponry is more or less my specialty, I will Steampunk most anything within reason...occasionally the unreasonable as well! My Steampunk Art has been described as, "Whimsical and Jewelry Like.", to "Downright Deadly!", in appearance...you be the judge. Below: Urn Lamp, This functional metal sculpture is in the Steampunk Genre. It is solid brass and copper. Fully sweated pipe joints and hand polished. Materials are, 1 cremation urn (previous occupant evicted), resin base, copper pipe, tin/silver solder and assorted industrial parts, wiring and Edison style bulbs. Entire work is finished in polyurethane to prevent tarish All lamps (lights) are individually controlled via switches and dimmer. This particular Sculpture was SOLD in Gallery for $1150USD. June 2013

Below: Blunderbuss / Coach Gun. A fine art "prop weapon" in the
Steampunk Genre. Custom designed and created for an Indie Film in 2013. This is a fantasy "Hero Weapon", meaning, in the film industry, as a piece that can be used for close-ups as well as long shots. The base for the piece was a 1920's Winchester Shotgun, heavily rusted and forgotten in a barn. It was descaled of rust, wood refinished, rendered inert and fitted with a 1920's clarinet section. It is totally awesome! This one is for sale: $350USD plus shipping.

Below: Samovar Lamp. Originally created as a test sample piece, it was my first "Fine Art Lamp" and my inroad to "functional steampunk art"... I was totally shocked when it SOLD for $700USD, 45 minutes after the Gallery opened for it's then current show in June 2013!

Below: The Infamous Pirate Bonnie's Flintlock...(#1 of 2) Designed and for use in a 2013 Indie Film (and then rented out as set dressing for the E3 Convention in 2014). The film was a disaster but the whimsical clarinet pistols were a definite hit, selling almost immediately for $650USD for the pair at a Gallery Showing, February 2015. Materials used were a section of a clarinet, cast pewter side lock, hammer and trigger, brass and copper pipe and fittings, hand carved pistol stock. Finish is polyurethane.
