This Fine Art Piece, is a heavy one and ruggedly constructed. (This is NOT, a lightweight plastic, riveted and hot melt glued together alteration of a cheap child's toy.) It is referred to in the Film Industry as a, "HERO GUN or HERO WEAPON".... meaning that it is Perfect for Close filming and backgrounds as well! That being said, although ruggedly constructed, it should be handled as a Fine Art Piece...With Care! It was constructed with solid brass and steel fixtures, fittings and hardware, and all hand fitted and polished. The Barrel is constructed from a used 1960's Armstrong Clarinet and pure copper and brass tubing, silver soldered and hand polished. This incredible Blunderbuss / Coach Gun is in great condition! It's a historical find of enormous importance! It has been rumored to have once been owned by, and built by, the illustrious explorer, Maj. I.C. Mayhem! As you may already know, Major Mayhem, back in the 19th Century, was one of the first to speculate on the possibility of a future Zombie Apocalypse and proved beyond any doubt, Vampires stalk the earth! He was also a superb gunsmith, inventor and, Vampire Slayer! It is also rumored that this weapon was powered by Super-heated Holy Water! (we cannot , at this time, prove this to be true) This would have made it an, awesomely, effective weapon against Vampires. Very few of Major Mayhem's Weapons or Inventions have survived to the 21st century. This may be your one and only chance to own a piece of fantasy history, of this caliber!

This beautiful, ruggedly constructed Rifle has been restored to it's original appearance. Unfortunately we were unable to make it fire anything but your imagination.

This is a one of a kind, never to be reproduced, original painstakingly created in my mind and produced in my ersatz studio. It was expensive and time consuming to create. I would hope you enjoy it as much as I did crafting it!

BLUNDERBUSS / COACH GUN SPECIFICATIONS:
This Fine Art Piece, is a heavy one and ruggedly constructed. (It is not a lightweight plastic, riveted and hot melt glued together alteration of a child's toy.) It was constructed with actual vintage Winchester rifle parts(rendered inoperable), solid brass and steel fixtures, fittings and hardware, and all hand fitted and polished. The Wood Stocks are genuine North American Walnut...vintage, 1910...The stocks were refinished to the point where they still retain that "Antique Victorian" well taken care of, used look. The steel receiver section was descaled to remove the layered rust and left the rich scarring details. The Barrel is constructed from a used 1960's Armstrong Clarinet. The rifle sling is hand crafted leather, by an Amish Community located in Charm, Ohio. The Blunderbuss is approximately 28 inches long and weighs about 4-1/2 lbs. Although well constructed, it is an Art Piece and should be handled as such...with care.
